The Antique Village is a very diverse area with many events each year. We are fortunate to have Train Station Park located in the Village. Quite a few of the events in our area are held at the Train Station. There are summer concerts by various artists on Thursday nights, and live entertainment on the stage at both of the Antique Village festivals. Independence Day is also celebrated at the Train Station.
Old City Hall, located on Mattie St. in the Village, has just been renovated and is now open!!!! This is now the Visitor's Welcome Center complete with public restrooms, museum, and display of the original jail cells. Current hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 10am to 5pm. The Livingston Parish Tourist and Visitor's Bureau will also soon have a satellite office located in the Old City Hall.
Main Street hosts Chef's & Wine Tasting Evening in early December. The antique stores are open for business on that night and have local restaurants and wine vendors set up in the stores for samples of great Louisiana food. Tickets go on sale in November.
There are two parades each year that pass through the village. The Mardi Gras parade and the Christmas parade are always favorites of the great people in Denham Springs.
We invite everyone to our wonderful city. We hope you enjoy your time with us and tell someone about us. Come back and visit soon!!!!!
